Well, thanks for stopping by and wanting to find out a bit more about me. Hopefully, you enjoy this, as this is most likely the only non-fiction you will find on this particular site.

I married my high school sweetheart (which is a 3 year tale of suffering) and we are still married (which is a much longer story of love, suffering, torment, romance, sword fighting, pirates… wait, that last part is the Princess Bride… close enough though). I’m also a father,20140222_175821_Richtone(HDR) a Navy Vet, a gamer, a college student and eventually a published writer. I started writing my original blog seriously in the beginning of 2014 and it reignited inside of me my passion for writing, in general, rekindling some of the old stories that have been laying dormant in the back of my head from teens.

I love science fiction and fantasy. I also enjoy writing poetry. A lot of what you will find here will fall into one of those three categories. I leave my real life stuff over on that other site I mentioned earlier.

Currently (Jan 2016) I am working on outlining and writing several books. My goal is to actually accomplish one of those before the end of the year, so let’s see how that goes.

Other than that, thanks for stopping by, leave a comment, enjoy the writing and.. umm.. I feel there should be something more but can’t think of anything…

  1. Good luck with your books. I’m on a similar journey too, I write fantasy novels for children and teenagers, and have several on the go, juggling which ever one takes my fancy! Hope one day to be published.

    1. I have been told to concentrate on one and get it done. I don’t think the people who tell me this understand my short attention span (but, they are probably incredibly right). Good luck to you also and thanks.

  2. Best of luck getting your book(s) completed. I have been working on one for a couple of years, we’ll see. Thanks for stopping by the Cow Pasture. I am forever grateful to those who jump the fence. Welcome.

  3. I think it is important to write, create, paint, where ever the Muse moves in you. I am working on several completed novels. Doing editing and rewrites, trying to hone them down. And starting two new ones. Like you R. Todd, I have an attention span that jumps around. Depending on where my mind is, that is the direction I head as to what I work on & what I create. Lots of stories inside my head. Too many I want to write down.

I wish you the concentration to complete whatever you desire and if publishing is part of that, I wish that for you, also. jk 🙂
